Fees and Payment

We offer an initial, 15-minute, complimentary phone consultation to discuss the support you are seeking, share our approach to treatment, and together figure out if Opal Psychological is a good fit for you.

Our rate for individual therapy is comparable with other empirically-trained doctoral-level practitioners in California.

Payment is due at the time of the session and rendered via credit card for self-pay clients. If you are not able to pay via card, payment can be made via cash or check by request.

We are In-Network with Aetna, Cigna & United HealthCare.

Navigating insurance can feel overwhelming—we’re here to help. We provide free eligibility checks so you know in advance what your copay will be for therapy.

OUT OF NETWORK CLIENTS:

Upon request, we can provide you with a “superbill” or invoice for services rendered at the end of every session, so that you may submit a claim for reimbursement to your insurance provider.
